Misery, based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, is the story of best-selling author Paul Sheldon, who veers off the snowy roads of Colorado and wakes up incapacitated in the secluded home of his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes. Soon Annie’s devoted care turns to unhinged rage when she discovers that his latest novel has killed off her favorite character, Misery.
