Macbeth
Video & Projection Design for Opera
Teatro Nuovo’s semi-staged concert version of Verdi’s original 1847 Macbeth tells the well-known story of Shakespeare’s most ambitious couple and their thirst for power.
The production, which seeks to prioritize music and voice, eschews physical scenography in favor of a series of bespoke projection stills designed to pay homage to operatic painted drops of the past.
